Job Purpose:
To manage mechanical quantities, support BOQ cost control and ensure contract compliance through all phases of the remeasurement process on a complex LNG project, in line with project and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake quantity take-off and measurement for all mechanical works in LNG Plant projects, including piping, equipment, NDT works, insulation, Refractory, Fire proofing and steel structures.
- Apply the Method of Measurement (MOM) and contract requirements accurately in all QS activities.
- Support the preparation of interim and final payment applications and the submission of measurement records.
- Assist in the identification, measurement and substantiation of varied and additional work items.
- Liaise with site, planning, and engineering teams to verify installed quantities and site progress.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized records, logs, and measurement sheets.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, to use, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and project management systems.
- Support compliance with project procedures, and relevant specifications.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
- Observe and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices.
