Protection Engineer
University Degree –Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Ten (10) years experience of which 5 years in senior position in commissioning of protection of electrical plants in subject as per appendix (I) should be well conversant with all principles of protection in general & in depth circuitry for subjects mentioned above.
Should be well conversant with most of relay manufactures like ABB, AREVA, VA TECH, SIEMENS, GENERAL ELECTRIC, MITSUBISHI, TOSHIBA for their all products of past & current productions towards field commissioning testing & putting in final service.
Should be well conversant with changing trend in protection & future developments.
Should be well conversant &experienced in relay setting calculations & applying settings in field. Should be conversant with all aspects of schematic drawings related to electrical substation commissioning.
Should be conversant to create new schematics modify existing schematics on software as well as hard copies electrical drawings for such drawing job.
Good command of written, spoken English language is must. Similar qualification for Arabic language is desirable & becomes added qualification
