A. Education:
Secondary school certificate plus technical/trade diploma in
electrical/electronic or at least third year in electrical/electronic engineering
course.
B. Experience:
Shall have at least five (5) years experience in the operation and maintenance
of different types and brands of fire detection and protection systems with
three (3) years of which shall have been devoted with an electric utility
company or similar establishment. Specific experience on the test and
inspection and maintenance of fire pump, controller and/or driver and
accessories is required.
C. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review I&T Reports the electronic/electrical portion of fire protection
system to ensure that they are in good operating condition.
2. Locates faults and other problems in the system by means of appropriate
diagnostic tests, measurements and analyses to determine nature of
repair to be made and replacement parts required.
3. Executes repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems.
4. Develop electronic/electrical layouts and schematics of the facility
inspected.
5. Performs other related duties as may be required by Maintenance
Engineer or COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE.
